OnLan

OnLan is the computer group me and some friends have. We sometimes come together and arrange small Local Area Networks and then we also have other people that are interested in computing there. We play a lot and have a good time. We got enough networking equipment to support 20 computers on 100mbit's network with switches and we also got an additional 16 ports hub. This means that we should be able to handle the "extreme popularaty for network parties in our local community. We got a Linux server running as DHCP and DNS server so it is very easy to set up the network once you've connected to a switch. We also got a Windows 2000 Server box in case (god forbid) the linux box crashes.

We are arranging a LAN this easter. It is to last from April 17th to Sunday April 20th. And will find place at Runde Skule. It will cost 100 NOK for visitors with computers. You will then get a seat and one power contact and one connection to our network.
